Day at the Zoo!!

Saturday, Spencer took me to the Zoo and we had the BEST day EVER! I haven't been since they did the new polar bear exhibit and put in all the new restaurants. Spencer and I ate lunch at this BBQ place that was SO good! We got the Bacon Ranch Burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Not to mention the fries were amazing too!

We had so much fun walking around, hand in hand, seeing all the active animals, pushing children out of the way to get pictures and better looks. There were times when I felt like I was with my Uncle. Uncle Spencer =) He would hang back, as I would run up to the glass, pushing children outta the way so I could get pictures.  Hold my stuff when I would climb up on walls and rocks to get a better look. He was so great. Haha

Mine and Spencer’s favorite part of the whole day is when we stood there for like 15 minutes and watched a Bald Eagle getting closer and closer to its lunch (a dead rat) the suspense was killing us! We just stood there frozen. (Of course I had to climb on a rock to get a closer look since Spencer wouldn’t let me get on his shoulders… Psh…). Finally after like 10 minutes, it finally picked at it then RIPPED IT OPEN with it’s beak! Oh it was SO NASTY!! It was like watching The Walking Dead! The eagle like ripped out the intestines and they were SO stringy and long!!! Oh it was SOOO SICK!! I of course was cheering with the 4 year old in front of me! Hahaah (Poor Spencer).

It was such a perfect day!

General Conference April 2012

Oh, how I love General Conference. I was SO excited for this year! There were some fantastic talks that I really needed to hear. I love how Conference does that. It was especially exciting for our family cuz my dear Dad was asked to organize and conduct General Priesthood Session.


We were so proud of him! He did such a fabulous job! It was really special for him too cuz my brother went with him and got the backstage pass to go back and meet everyone. My dad loved sharing that with his son.

Wow... I suck

I'm so sorry! I haven't posted anything in SO LONG!!! Life has been so crazy busy but I'm loving every second of it! Right now I'm working full time at a hospital and still doing hair on the side which I love!!!

My sister/best friend moved to Florida and has been there a little over a month. It has been SO HARD living without her! so hard, in fact, I bought a plane ticket for the end of May to go see her :) So excited! I can't wait to see my little boys. We're not telling them I'm coming so it'll be a total surprise! =D

Everyone seems to be coming back from Vacation to Disneyland. I hate them all...

I went on a two week trip to Mexico with one of my dear friends, Toast, which I'll have to post about later but it was glorious!

My dad is directing the Priesthood Session of General Conference and he has done SUCH a fabulous job!! I am seriously SO PROUD OF HIM! He retires from the Choir next month and this is a huge honor for him.

My mom is still perfect in every way.

That's pretty much what's been going on lately for me... I'll try to catch up on more posts but just so everyone knows, I'm still alive, I'm still here, and I'll still as lovely as ever ;)
